Tasting of 3 tapas with km0 products explained by our Chef, paired with 3 wines from wineries in Rioja Oriental, commented on by the winery's oenologist.
Experience pairing two vermouths and a Rioja sparkling wine from our route with three specially prepared tapas.
Each "round" will be explained: the chef will describe why each tapa was chosen, its ingredients, and properties, while the winery's oenologist will explain the reasoning behind each wine selection, its production, and characteristics.
The goal is to provide experiential learning about the characteristics and properties of these local, km0 products, highlighting their quality and the importance of raising awareness about their consumption for producers, the region, and the promotion of a more circular and sustainable economy.
WE WANT TO CREATE ADDED VALUE IN THIS EXPERIENCE... "3 in 1":
WHAT...?
Vermouth paired and explained with 3 rounds of 3 tapas and 3 beverages:
Round 1: tapa of our Russian salad with croutons, paired with white vermouth.
Round 2: stuffed mushroom with its own meat, vegetables, and km0 sausage, paired with reserve red vermouth.
Round 3: crispy toast with melted dark chocolate, flakes of salt, and Galilea AOVE, paired with Rioja sparkling wine.
➡️ Adaptation for children and elderly: with non-alcoholic grape juices, white, rosé, and red.
➡️ We’ll play "Guess the ingredients of the tapas and the grapes in the wines and juices"...
The three tapas made with local Km0 products paired with three wines from Rioja Oriental wineries, explained by the chef and the winery’s oenologist. To make it more fun and interactive, participants will play the game "Which goes with what?".
All necessary tableware, glasses, napkins, and utensils will be provided.
The participant with the most correct matches will win a free tapa and wine!
Take a look at the following experiences
Wine tourism experience centered around the traditional winemaking process in the cellar of a small family winery, exploring its history as well as the history, culture, and traditions of the Cidacos Valley.
We will take a tour of the winemaking and ageing facilities of the urban winery, taking a closer look at the particularities of artisan work, ageing in clay amphorae, foudres or barrels. We will also see how we carry out the manual work of labelling and sealing bottles, which is typical of small production wines. We will finish with a tasting of four wines accompanied by an aperitif of Riojan pork loin and our own organic olive oil with bread from a wood-fired oven. An emotional visit to enjoy the culture of wine, with the charm of the small and artisanal.
