Enoturi: "Manos a la viña: una jornada en familia en el corazón de La Mancha"

"Manos a la Viña" is an experience designed to reconnect with nature, learn about vine cultivation, and enjoy the cultural and gastronomic richness of La Mancha as a family.

The day begins with a warm welcome in the vineyards, where you will receive everything you need to become a vintner for a day: gloves, tools, and hats to protect yourself from the sun. An agricultural guide will introduce you to the fascinating world of viticulture, explaining the unique aspects of vine cultivation, the natural cycles of the plants, and how each agricultural task is essential to producing high-quality grapes. This first stage allows you not only to learn but also to feel like part of the region’s winemaking tradition.

As the experience progresses, each family member will have the chance to actively participate in seasonal vineyard tasks. Whether pruning in winter, leaf thinning in spring, or soil clearing in summer, the agricultural guide will teach you how each activity aligns with the vine’s life cycle and influences the quality of the harvest.

Children will enjoy specially designed activities such as identifying leaves, learning about beneficial insects for the vineyard, or planting their own small vines—fostering hands-on, fun learning in direct contact with nature.

The day culminates with an outdoor culinary experience, where families come together to celebrate the fruits of their labor. Under the guidance of a local cook, you will learn to prepare traditional Manchego dishes like gachas, migas, and caldereta, using fresh, local ingredients. Each family will cook their own meal, which they will then enjoy in a relaxed setting surrounded by vineyards.

For adults, the meal will be paired with a tasting of local wines that embody the essence of La Mancha, while younger participants can enjoy non-alcoholic beverages.

"Manos a la Viña" is more than just a day in the countryside—it’s an opportunity to share, learn, and savor the authentic essence of La Mancha as a family.
