Designed for groups of friends and wine lovers, this experience will take you to explore the origin of wine in the region, visiting iconic wineries and historic sites, all without worrying about transportation.
We begin at the Iberian site of Benimaquia, an archaeological treasure that houses one of the oldest wine production structures in Western Europe. Here, a guide will accompany you on a hike through the mountain, revealing how this fortress marked the beginning of viticulture in the region.
The route continues to Finca Mont Roig, where you will discover the magic of natural wines made with ecological and biodynamic methods. During the visit, you will enjoy a tasting of five wines (three white and two red), surrounded by an environment that balances tradition and sustainability. Between winery and winery, the experience includes a walk through the charming historic center of Benissa. An official guide will tell you the stories and anecdotes of its streets and stately homes, connecting you with the cultural heritage of the town.
We will finish by visiting a wine cooperative, Bodega Teulada, where we will visit the facilities where the wine is produced and then we will taste a semi-dry wine and an internationally awarded mistela.
